Our second chili lovers is the fiery red chili revisited with the ghost pepper. This is a 1,000,000 shu chili and one of the strongest in the world. They probably called it ghost because its effects can be felt through its odor alone. Just being near the flakes has an effect of peppermint gum on the eyes, nose and mouth. It is a rare experience. As per Wikipedia it was the world champion for a long time:

In 2007, Guinness World Records certified that the ghost pepper was the world’s hottest chili pepper, 400 times hotter than Tabasco sauce. [neutrality is disputed] The ghost chili is rated at more than one million Scoville Heat Units (SHUs).
